The night we were to go to the soft opening of the new Spa Bioéthique came after a grueling week. We had two events to go to. I was tired to the bone. The thought of going out to two parties, let alone one, did not appeal to me at all.
Life does, however, throw you some delicious curve balls, as I was soon to find out. The very moment I walked in to Bioéthique, I knew I had stumbled upon something new that was unique, genuine, and regenerating. I walked in, took an automatic deep breath, and the first thing I felt was “well being,” not an overwhelming blast of synthetic aromatherapy or bath bombs. I thought, This is the real deal.
I have always had an interest in this field, as my mother worked in the cosmetic department at a drug store years ago. I guess she would have been a “beauty consultant”. So from an early age I learned about keeping your face clean and moisturized. This, on top of having a very keen sense of smell, led me to appreciate aromatherapy oils, the first in the 70’s of course being Patchouli.
The first thing I was asked as I walked in was, “Would you like a facial?” “YES!” I almost jumped. I walked through the newly completed space, took in the aesthetically pleasing décor. It felt like I was on a holiday and had just stepped into a specialty shop somewhere in Provence.
I was introduced to Jaz, who was to be my esthetician for the next 20 minutes. I laid on a very comfortable bed and let her work her magic. I know that at least twice I fell asleep, for an insomniac this is unheard of. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. I cannot remember feeling that relaxed for so long. My face did not feel the fatigue it did when I came in. I felt invigorated. On my way out, someone else offered me a hand massage, another 20 minutes of bliss, but back to the product.
You know the time and effort that was put in to create a true organic experience here. I would pick up delicious subtle hints of geranium, lavender, not gardens of it that overpowered the senses. I left that party to go on to the next, feeling like I had just had eight hours of sleep, and, was one of the last to leave! The next day I purchased the Day Cream, I don’t know if I look 20 years younger, but it sure feels good on my skin.

The facial treatment was wonderful: a deep cleanse followed by a wonderful massage. The products silkened my skin and made it glow. I loved the fact that all the products used were 100% organic, and that the people I came into contact with at the spa had a vast knowledge and understanding of the science of skin care. The whole experience calmed and enriched me.

It didn’t take long, I noticed a difference in my skin right away. My cheeks in particular felt so smooth and silky. The products weren’t heavy, they were light, effective, absorbed quickly.
Bioéthique, is one of the first lines that has left me feeling clean and moisturized without that ugh waxy feel that is usually left behind….. These products are delicious smelling, with subtle fragrances of orange, and rose and other essential plant oils. They are fresh, and work best that way. They leave my skin feeling great, and my body smelling delicious.Of course, only time will tell, but if I'm smiling because my skin feels so good, then how can this be a bad thing?
I can’t say how many different brands I have been through. Come to find out, most of the products I used ended up having a certain level of toxins in them anyway, even though they claimed not to. Bioéthique is the only line that I could find that has zero toxins. It is 100% pure. When I was first pregnant I ordered their facial wash, day cream and their eye cream. The stuff is wonderful. I am hooke…..The Regenerating Scrub is fabulous. I used it after I washed my face with their Cleansing Milk and my skin felt so tight and fresh afterward. It is not too harsh and did not leave me red or feeling itchy, which tends to be an issue with my skin.I am so thrilled to have found this line of products.

I use all the products! I started with the day cream, loved it, then added the night cream to my daily ritual. Now I also use the cleansing milk. eye cream and facial mask. I find all the products go on smoothly without being thick and oily.
